The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that this Tuesday, June 9, it carried out 27 raids and interventions in the El Gallito neighborhood, zone 3 of the capital.
Prosecutors from the Public Ministry also participate in the raids, with support from the Guatemalan Army.
According to preliminary information, three motorcycles were seized. One of these, with license plate M048LXK, was stolen on April 21 in San Raymundo, according to the PNC.
The other two have alterations in the chassis number and lack a license plate, the institution added.
The PNC indicated that arrests have already been reported, as well as the location of drugs and money.
The proceedings are taking place in 27 properties where there are people with arrest warrants.
Helicopters and drones are also used in the proceedings, the PNC added.
The Ministry of the Interior indicated that the proceedings are carried out following different investigation files.
