Ingress of humidity will favor rains in several regions this June 12

Ana Pérez, Insivumeh forecaster, reported what the weather conditions will be like in Guatemala this Friday, June 12.

According to the forecast, this Friday the country continues under the influence of low pressure over Central America, which will favor a warm environment and the entry of humidity from the Pacific Ocean.

Rain is expected during the afternoon in much of the national territory.

The highest rainfall accumulations are expected in the bocacosta, the south of the country and sectors of the Northern Transversal Belt and the Caribbean.

Derived from the cloudiness, cooler temperatures will be recorded in the south and north of the country, where maximum temperatures could range between 32°C and 34°C at midday.

Meanwhile, in the west, maximum temperatures will range between 22°C and 24°C. In the central highlands and the rest of the country, maximum temperatures could vary between 24°C and 26°C.

The Insivumeh asks to take the necessary precautions against the expected rains, since river flooding, floods and lahars could occur in the volcanic chain.
