One of the venues that protects the country’s railway history will open its doors to join the football fever for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. As part of its activities, it announced a celebration for dad, which will have a football theme.
The Railway Museum will open its doors to the public to celebrate those who, with their daily work, are an important part of the household’s livelihood. To celebrate dad, the Museum announced its train tours, which will take Guatemalans to travel along the old rails that, in times past, connected the city.
The route will depart from the Museum station towards the well-known Gerona station, a journey that the whole family can enjoy in this event, which will also include a series of football-themed activities, such as photographic spaces, dynamics and broadcasting of the day’s matches.
The event will also offer special activities, raffles for dad, the mechanical bull game, food sales and a space to exchange cards with other attendees and thus complete the official FIFA World Cup album.
These activities are part of the celebration of Railway Month, which pays tribute to those who, through their work, gave life to the train lines, the stations and drove this transportation from 1880 to 1996.
