The Municipality of Guatemala reports that this Monday, June 15, a group of protesters is blocking vehicular circulation near the La Aurora International Airport, zone 13.
The commune asks motorists to take this information into account and suggests they use alternative routes; In addition, follow the instructions of the Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) agents.
Amílcar Montejo, PMT road spokesman, indicates that traffic is diverted on the 7th. avenue and 15 street, zone 13, at the roundabout that connects with the Aurora neighborhoods and with the La Aurora International Airport.
As an alternative route, it is recommended to use Hincapié Avenue towards the Santa Fe neighborhood, zone 13, and then join the airport area.
According to Montejo, the group of about 150 people is asking for the resignation of an official from the Ministry of Communications.
