Despite the Uzbek reaction, Colombia ended up imposing its hierarchy with goals from Daniel Muñoz, Luis Díaz and Jaminton Campaz. Now, Portugal and Uzbekistan face a key duel in their aspirations to advance to the next round.
The duel between Portugal and Uzbekistan will be played on Tuesday, June 23 at 11:00 AM Guatemala time at the Houston Stadium in what will be a key match to define the course of Group K on its second day. While Colombia has already secured provisional leadership of the group after its victory in the debut and will face DR Congo on the same day in Guadalajara, Portugal and Uzbekistan need the three points to not compromise their aspirations of advancing to the next round of the tournament.
