Three young people were arrested and face murder charges for the death of a woman, who was attacked with a knife on Thursday, June 25 in Del Río, authorities reported.
The attack occurred around 2:10 p.m. in the 800 block of East 10th Street in Del Río, Texas. The victim was taken to Val Verde Regional Medical Center with multiple injuries and, due to the severity of his condition, was later taken to a San Antonio hospital.
The woman died that same day, around 9 p.m., said the police of that city.
After analyzing videos from security cameras, interviewing witnesses and collecting other evidence, Del Río Police arrested Kitty Mia Díaz, 21, that same day; Amaya Cookie Díaz, 19, and Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, identified as allegedly responsible for the attack.
The three suspects were charged with homicide and transferred to the GEO Correctional Facility.
The Police reported that the investigation remains open and does not rule out filing additional charges as the case progresses.
