The Spanish National Team confirmed its candidacy for the title and qualified for the round of 16 of the World Cup by beating Austria 3-0, in a match that they dominated from start to finish under the direction of Luis de la Fuente.

La Roja showed personality, good ball handling and forcefulness to overcome an Austrian team that never found a way to stop the Spanish attack.
