The National Symphony Orchestra is in the midst of its Official Season, inaugurated in June, and throughout the weeks it has presented a series of classical music concerts.

With the theme “From Haydn to Prokofiev, with the poetry of Fauré”; His next presentation will take place this Friday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m.in the Concert Hall of the “Germán Alcántara” National Conservatory of Music, located on 3rd avenue 4-61, zone 1 of Guatemala City.

“The National Symphony Orchestra of Guatemala invites you to its V Concert of the Official Season 2026: a musical journey that spans three centuries of clarity, balance and luminous joy,” it indicates on its social networks.

The concert will be conducted by Vicente Ariño, prominent Spanish conductor and musician, who currently directs the Ciudad de Alcalá Orchestra.

“You will enjoy an exceptional program that unites tradition, refinement and modernity: from the peak of classicism with Haydn’s last symphony, through the nostalgic elegance of Fauré, to the neoclassical and playful look of Prokofiev“, highlight the organizers.

Tickets cost Q100 and can be purchased at the National Symphony Orchestra offices.located in the National Conservatory of Music. Entrance is on 5th street, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Seniors and students of any artistic discipline will receive courtesy passes. They only have to present their Personal Identification Document (DPI) at the box office on the day of the event. Two passes will be issued per senior citizen and one per student.
