Four people were captured this Monday, July 6, in operations carried out by investigators from the Specialized Criminal Investigation Division (DEIC) in Quetzaltenango and Retalhuleu, where drugs, weapons, cash, vehicles and cell phones were also seized, according to information from the National Civil Police (PNC).
In a raid carried out in zone 2 of Quetzaltenango, Kevin “N”, 27 years old, was captured. In the property, investigators located a gun that had been reported stolen since April 12, in zone 7 of Quetzaltenango; two compressed gas pistols; 44 bags and seven wrappers with marijuana; 12 fangs with cocaine; crack stones and Q6,200 in cash.
In addition, the authorities reported the seizure of two vehicles, one of which has a seizure order since July 3, as well as two cell phones.
In another operation, carried out in zone 4 of Retalhuleu, the Honduran Óscar “N”, 47 years old, was captured; Pablo “N”, 45, and Fernanda “N”, 26.
According to the Police, 10 wrappers containing crack stones and cash were confiscated from the two men inside a home.
Police information adds that Fernanda “N” had two arrest warrants, issued in April and August 2025 for the crimes of extortion and extortionate obstruction of traffic, issued by a court in Guatemala.
