Agents from the 32nd Police Station of the National Civil Police (PNC) and investigators from the National Division against the Criminal Development of Gangs (Dipanda), in coordination with the Public Ministry (MP), carried out a raid on a property in the village of Las Astas, Barberena, Santa Rosa, where they captured two men and referred two teenagers, alleged members of Barrio 18.
During the investigation, authorities located a gun reported stolen, two motorcycles and a container with marijuana.
One of those captured was identified as Jesús “N”, 20 years old, alias “Eskini” or “El Flaco”. According to authorities, he had a current arrest warrant for attempted homicide, issued on July 10 by a court in Santa Rosa. In addition, he has a record from 2023 for illegal possession of a firearm.
The other detainee is Abraham “N”, 21 years old, alias “Liro”.
Likewise, two 17-year-old adolescents were referred to the corresponding court. One of them is known by the alias “El Criminal”.
The authorities reported that they are investigating whether the four are related to criminal acts that occurred in that sector.
A pistol reported stolen since March 1, 2026, when it was stolen at kilometer 10.5 of the highway to El Salvador, in Santa Catarina Pinula, was also located in the property. In addition, two motorcycles and a container containing marijuana were seized.
