According to the social security report, most of the beneficiaries are concentrated in the department of Guatemalawhere there is 117 thousand 891 pensioners. The Q300 bonus was authorized by the Agreement 1358 of the IGSS Board of Directorswhich came into force in December 2015.
Another important detail is that the bonus Q300 is a fixed amount. That is, all pensioners who are entitled to receive it will obtain the same amount, regardless of the value of the monthly pension.
People suspended due to illness do not receive this bonus, since the benefit is intended only for those who have a current pension within the IVS program.
