The Municipal Fire Department was alerted by passers-by about some suspicious “packages” that were lying on 51st Street in Zone 12, on Petapa Avenue.
When the paramedics arrived and carried out a superficial inspection, they confirmed that they were human remains, so they proceeded to call the competent authorities for the investigation process.
The information that is known up to this moment is that it could be two people, who while signs of violence, without detailing the sex of the victims.
The two packages were lying on the public road, near a sidewalk, so it is presumed that they were stolen during the early hours of the morning.
Due to the type of emergency, firefighters were only able to cordon off the area, to prevent passers-by from approaching the bodies, which could contaminate the crime scene, which must be evaluated by investigators to locate possible clues.
This Saturday, human remains were also located in two points in the municipality of Mixco.
