“See, feel and create” is part of the Sunday Combo offered by Fundación La Ruta Maya so that children can live a fun and educational experience through art, while exploring the Mayan culture.
As part of its activities, the foundation invites families to enjoy the July Sunday Combo, a cultural experience designed for boys and girls to learn about one of the most valuable materials of the Mayan civilization: jade.
During the activity, participants will be able to observe authentic pieces of jade and learn about their historical and cultural importance. The organizers highlight that the day, whose motto is “The green treasure of the Mayans”, seeks to develop children’s creativity when decorating their own mask.
The workshop, designed for children, will allow them to develop their artistic skills. Meanwhile, adults will also be able to enjoy the foundation’s permanent exhibit with a contribution.
The activity will take place during Steps and Pedals. Children will participate in a guided workshop and adults will be able to tour a permanent exhibition from the La Ruta Maya Foundation.
