The Confederation of North, Central America and the Caribbean Soccer (Concacaf) announced this Tuesday, July 21, the official pots for the draw for the fifth edition of the Concacaf Nations League 2026/27, which will take place on Thursday, July 23 in Miami, Florida.
During the event, the path of the 41 national teams in the region will be defined, distributed in leagues A, B and C. Among them is Guatemala, led by Mexican coach Luis Fernando Tena, who will compete in League A and will know their rivals for the next edition of the tournament.
The Blue and White will return to official Concacaf activity several months after their last game in the World Cup qualifiers. After being left out of the race for a ticket to the World Cup, the national team will face this competition with the aim of beginning a new stage under the command of Tena and ensuring its permanence in League A, in addition to fighting for one of the tickets for the 2027 Gold Cup.
