After seeing him as a quarterback at East Highland High School, the series showed how Nate Jacobs plunged into adulthood, where he met his end when he was buried alive in a coffin.
It was during an interview with Colman Domingo, on the program Jimmy Kimmel Live!who shared how filming was carried out and what he experienced while being locked in a coffin next to a snake.
In his story, Elordi highlighted that the recording of the coffin scene took two days, during which he remained inside it. Although at first Nate was one of the most hated characters, the outcome surprised fans of the series, so the actor pointed out that the ending fulfilled what many viewers had been asking for eight years: the death of the character.
The third season shows Nate becoming a real estate developer, but his participation in a business that does not prosper leads him to face the consequences of his decisions, as he is chased, beaten, buried alive and attacked by a snake after one of his businesses did not go well.
It was in the program where Elordi stressed that the producer made him return to “torture” him: “It was like six weeks in which a man taller than two meters constantly hit me,” he highlighted.
Likewise, he explained that for his final scene he had to stay two days inside a coffin with prosthetics and a false tongue. In addition, he lived with a snake that finally kills his character.
“She had a very pleasant personality. She was very docile and very sleepy,” he commented on the attitude of the boa with which he shared space. He even said that he tried to move her to make her react, since in the scene she had to look threatening.
Likewise, during the interview he highlighted the impact that the series had on his life and shared that he is now focused on his new projects. Among them is the film The Dog Starswith which it will soon hit the screen.
