The youth series, which mixed skating, love dramas and music, reached millions of young people and adolescents in Latin America and Europe between 2016 and 2018. Now it will return to the screen with its fourth and final season.
The production, which followed the success of Violettafrom Disney Channel, reached 220 episodes in its three seasons. In them, the audience not only saw Luna Valente (Karol Sevilla) grow, but also grew with her. Eight years later, the series returns to present a more mature version of the protagonist and other characters.
The Jam & Roller, Blake South College and the Benson mansion were part of the locations where fans saw Luna Valente develop her skating skills and face rivalries with Ámbar, a character played by Valentina Zenere, in addition to love conflicts with Matteo (Ruggero Pasquarelli) and Simón (Michael Ronda).
Eight years later, Disney announced the return of Luna Valente for a fourth season of 12 episodes. The production, titled I am Luna, roll againwill show the protagonist facing new challenges and seeking to clarify her emotions.
The fourth season will premiere on Disney+ on July 24, 2026 and will feature part of the original cast, including Agustín Bernasconi (Gastón), Malena Ratner (Delfina), Gastón Vietto (Pedro), Carolina Kopelioff (Nina) and Lucila Gandolfo (Sharon Benson).
Story of the fourth season
As revealed by Disney, in I am Luna, roll again Luna will return to Jam & Roller after two years away from skating. The protagonist would have suffered an accident that interrupted her successful career as a professional freestyle skater.
Her return to the rink will lead her to try to resume skating, but fears and a new enemy will test her confidence.
During a pink carpet to celebrate the premiere of the new season, Karol Sevilla highlighted to EFE that the series allowed them to be part of “the lives of people who grew up with us and today it is incredible to think that we will also be part of the lives of many children who are growing up.”
The Mexican actress announced that Luna will face professional and emotional decisions. Therefore, a more mature version of the character is expected and that this new stage represents, according to Sevilla, a dose of joy for youth who seek to “promote peace” and cope with what is happening in the world.
Concerts of I am Moon
The series, which took the original cast on an international tour, will seek to return to the stage to close this chapter. It is known that the reunion with its audience will occur on October 16 and 17 at the Mexico City Arena, where the cast will perform the songs from the series’ new album.
