In the La Verbena neighborhood, zone 7, police from Police Station 14 captured Douglas “N”, 48 years old, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Thursday, July 23.
The PNC added that, when the agents identified the detainee, they established that he had an arrest warrant for the crime of attempted femicide.
He explained that the arrest is the result of an investigation that began on May 9, 2026.
According to the PNC, Douglas “N”, allegedly under the influence of liquor and after an argument with his ex-wife, attacked her with a knife and caused blows to her face.
The investigation continues and the suspect must clarify his legal situation in the court that ordered his arrest.
In another case, the PNC reported that Leonel “N”, 25 years old, was captured in Jutiapa after allegedly trying to rape a 27-year-old woman.
