“Expocasa is part of that organization, it is part of that medium and long-term plan, It is the impetus so that Guatemala City can have districts where employment is closer to housing, education closer to work and complement that model with new transportation systems, such as the Aerometro, the bus and, of course, the Transmetro and the announcement that the central government has made about the Riel Metro,” added the mayor.

Hugo Bosque, president of the Expocasa 2026 Organizing Committee, highlighted that The fair represents much more than a commercial space and this year it incorporates new tools to improve the visitor experience.
