The Volunteer Firefighters of Parramos, Chimaltenango, reported that in the early hours of this Thursday, July 30, an armed incident was recorded on the 3rd. avenue in the La Libertad canton, in that municipality, where the wake of a person who had been killed the previous day was taking place.
They indicated that, after the alert, they mobilized immediately and, upon arriving at the scene, the paramedics located three men with gunshot wounds.
According to the firefighters’ report, two of the victims no longer had vital signs at the time of the evaluation.
They added that the third victim was stabilized at the scene and transferred in critical condition to the Chimaltenango Regional Hospital; However, minutes later, medical personnel confirmed that he died as a result of the severity of his injuries.
The bodies of the victims were left lying in the street and the motive for the triple crime is unknown.
According to the information provided by the firefighters, one of the deceased was identified by his relatives as Luis Antonio Morales, 29 years old. Among the victims is a 14-year-old teenager.
