Between marimba melodies, memories of the past and the magic of the railroad, the Railroad Museum will celebrate the 145 years of the train in Guatemala with a live concert that promises to excite the whole family.

The Altos Railroad It will be one of the pieces that will be performed during the Marimba assembly at the live concert that the 2025 railway festival will offer on June 15. The activity, aimed at the whole family and especially to the elderly, seeks to transfer the public to the golden age of the train in Guatemala.
At the rhythm of the notes, Railroads of Guatemala will open the doors of the museum to commemorate the 145th anniversary of the railway connection between the country’s ports and the arrival of the train to national territory, a fact that marked the history of transport and trade.
With the marimba as the protagonist, this space will provide a unique moment between authentic locomotives on exposure. The event will be enlivened by labor recreation, of the Ministry of Labor.
During the celebration of the month of the railroad, artistic shows will be presented with railway themes, marimba concerts and photographic spaces to enjoy as a family.
