On June 3, Jose Andrés Contreras, 20, left his house at 10 am and told his parents that he would go to the gym located in El Naranjo, zone 4 of Mixco.
Contreras drove a blue agricultural truck, with P-717JNP plates. Two hours after leaving his home, he disappeared.
“I am desperate, my son is a university student,” said the young man’s father.
Minutes before disappearing, Contreras called one of his friends to ask him to meet, but his partner could not accompany him.
In that period, between 10 and 11.50 on June 3, no one had a trace of it: neither calls or messages, the family said.
They added that they tried to contact him, but did not respond the calls or text messages.
According to the Public Ministry, the case is being known by the Mixco Prosecutor’s Office, and the National Civil Police commented that he has appointed a team of investigators.
“We are still looking for him, we continue to call him. So far we don’t know anything about him,” said Contreras’ sister.
