All technology that is part of the daily environment of people It depends on the microchips, So this project will open the doors to Guatemala to the world of manufacturing these objects.
The project director, Carlos Esquit, Director of the Department of Electronic, Mechatronics and Biomedical Engineering of the University of the Valley of Guatemala (UVG), points out that from appliances, video game consoles, computers and vehicles to biomedical equipment in hospitals and diagnostic laboratories, military technology and the Internet They exist and improve thanks to the microchips that compose them and give them “intelligence.”
This project can be the cornerstone so that in the future we have industry related to design and/or manufacture of semiconductors, That allows us to dream that Guatemala achieves development, points out.
