They added that Campos Hoffens were followed for several days in a blue car with P-012Jyt plates. That April 17, at 7.52, the vehicle was captured in the 19th and 3rd Avenue in Zone 14, near the Housing of Campos.
Two hours later, near Las Américas Avenue, the cameras captured the moment when Campos Hoffens drove a green peak and, in another vehicle, his family was going.
The investigations of the authorities showed that the subjects in the blue car called two of their accomplices and began to follow him. The hitmen, aboard a motorcycle, shot the ophthalmologist and then fled.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Crimes against the Life of the Public Ministry (MP) reported that the detainees on March 6 are syndicated for the crimes of illicit association, murder, murder in the degree of attempt, conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery.
He added that, during the proceedings, four vehicles seized, which would have been used to commit criminal acts, a firearm and 16 cell phones.

“They are people who have made a name in this particular crime business, because that is: a business,” he acknowledged.
Reyes compared the way of operating this structure with that of the kidnappers three decades ago, who controlled their victims for weeks.
“I think they are making fun of the security forces. The structures operate and seem to be referred among other organized crime bands, ”he explained.
The authorities said they are still investigating the cases and the other members of the band of alleged hitmen.
