The incident occurred in Sector 2 of Cerro Alto, San Juan Sacatepéquez, where, as reported on Monday, March 17, volunteer firefighters left three people killed and several injured.
Due to the magnitude of the explosion, the volunteer firefighters of the companies 37 and 115 mobilized to the place of the tragedy and confirmed the death of three people.
In addition, they reported that there were several injured, of which two are in a delicate state.
The lifeguards also served several people with nervous breakdown and blows in different parts of the body.
Preliminary reports point out that two of the deceased were identified as Jorge Cubule, 48, and Wilmer Cubule, 25.
