After four stages disputed, the Cycling Tour of Guatemala 2025 reaches its most anticipated moment: the queen stage. This Tuesday, October 28, the fifth day will be held, considered the most decisive of the entire competition due to its mountainous profile and altitude, where the true contenders for the title will be revealed.
The Colombian Cristian Camilo Muñoz of Team Nu Colombia maintains the leader’s yellow jersey after the fourth stage, while the Guatemalan Edgar Geovanny Torres del Hino-One La Red He remains the best national representative in fourth place in the general classification.
With 109.3 kilometers that include four mountain prizes and a high finish to San Rafael Pie de la Cuesta, this stage traditionally defines the favorites for the title of the second leg.
Pure climbers like Nicolas Paredeswho already demonstrated their quality by winning the third stage, will seek to impose their pace in the mountains. The leaders of the general classification will have to defend their positions against the attacks that will surely occur in the toughest passes.
