A nurse from a Quetzaltenango hospital was denounced for the alleged theft of medicines.

A nurse from the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS) of Quetzaltenango was captured by carrying medications Supposedly without authorization, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported.
The institution said that, in the parking lot of IGSS, in Zone 5 of Xela, the capture of Silvestre “N”, 32, was recorded.
The suspect works as a nurse in the running post of the recovery area of said hospital, according to the PNC.
The entity explained that the subject’s arrest was in response to a complaint.
According to the accusation, the detainee was surprised when he retired after finishing his turn.
In a vehicle he had several medications that were supposedly stolen, said the PNC.
