Two days after 91 years old, the renowned American actor Richard Chamberlain died this March 29 in Waimanalo, Hawaii, after he presented health complications derived from a stroke, according to his agent.

His career was marked by great achievements by obtaining three golden balloons in his career within the miniseries, where he was considered the “king of miniseries”, after starring in iconic productions such as the miniseries Shogun (1980) and The Thorn Birds (The Espino Bird1983).

With a statement, the actor’s couple reported his death this Sunday and explained: “Our dear Richard is now with Los Angeles (…) is free and rises to those loved ones who preceded us. What blessed we were for having met such an incredible and affectionate soul. Love never dies. And our love is under its wings, raising him towards his next great adventure.”

His official career began in the theater, where he participated in different works that led him to act in some television programs in small papers.
