On Saturday, April 11, the death of two people was reported in a traffic accident between a private vehicle and a truck at km 114 of route CA-14, in the jurisdiction of Morazán, El Progreso, heading towards Verapaces.
This Sunday, April 12, it turns out that the deceased are two doctors who were traveling in a Honda truck. It is about Adinia Steicy González Xoy33 years old, originally from Cobán, Alta Verapaz, and Oscar Emilio Duarte Sandovalalso 33 years old, originally from Guatemala City.
González Xoy worked at the Nueva Santa Rosa Permanent Care Center, while Duarte Sandoval was a third-year resident in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Cuilapa Hospital. Both institutions are located in the department of Santa Rosa.

The death of the two doctors has caused shock in the local medical union. The Cuilapa Regional Hospital Licensed Guillermo Fernández Llenera published a message on the social network Facebook, in which he regrets what happened.
