The Public Ministry (MP) and the National Civil Police (PNC) carry out this Monday, April 13 raids in Huité, Zacapa, for the disappearance of Claudia Pamela Rivas.
The proceedings are taking place at municipal headquarters and in the commune of Huité, according to sources.
On Sunday, authorities carried out investigations in 30 properties in Huité, Río Hondo and Usumatlán, in Zacapa, as part of the follow-up to the disappearance of Rivas, registered in November 2025.
70 prosecutors, 1,167 PNC agents, 77 investigators from the Specialized Criminal Investigation Division, as well as personnel from the General Subdirectorate of Anti-Narcotics Information Analysis and the Police Information Division participated in the proceedings.
On November 28, at 10:30 p.m., the Isabel Claudina alert number 2025/1682 was activated, following a complaint filed by relatives of Claudia Pamela Rivas before the MP Women’s Prosecutor’s Office in Zacapa.
Rivas, 30 years old, originally from Huehuetenango, lived in the Guayacán neighborhood, in Huité, the municipality where she was last seen.
Rivas, an auditor by profession, worked as financial director in the municipality of that town.
According to relatives, Rivas communicated daily with his 7-year-old son. They also indicated that he worked in the municipality of Todos Santos Cuchumatán, Huehuetenango, and that since January 2024 he had been working in the commune of Huité.
