A traffic collision between a patrol of the National Civil Police (PNC) and a private vehicle was captured by surveillance cameras at kilometer 184 of route CA-2, in the memoria Ocosito sector, Retalhuleu.
The images show the moment when the private vehicle crossed into the parking lot of businesses located on the other side of the lane.
At that moment, the patrol was approaching at excessive speed with the intention of passing, without avoiding impact.
The incident left no people injured. Only material damage was reported to both vehicles.
The authorities have not provided further details about the circumstances of the incident or possible responsibilities.
