The Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) of Villa Nueva reported that this Thursday, April 16, a motorist died in a traffic incident at kilometer 28 of the route to the Pacific.
Dalia Santos, spokesperson for the PMT, explained that the accident occurred in the south direction of the capital.
As a result of the accident, both lanes in the sector are reported to be blocked.
Santos added that the accident occurred in the Amatitlán section, but the line of vehicles extends to the municipality of Villa Nueva.
The line of motor vehicles extends at least 10 kilometers and the accumulation of vehicles continues.
The deceased motorcyclist has not been identified and details of how the accident occurred are unknown.
