A traffic accident recorded in the village Saint Cecilia Chajanebin San Juan Chamelco, Alta Verapaz, left as balance two people dead and four more injured, who were rushed to the national hospital in Cobán.
According to the Departmental Municipal Firefighters, the accident occurred around 9 in the morning, after the pilot lost control of the vehicle for reasons not yet established and crashed into a stone wall.
First responders went to the scene with emergency units and provided assistance to the victims, while the authorities were notified to begin the corresponding procedures.
Another fatal accident
A traffic incident leaves two people dead on the route of Barcenasin New Villatoward Milpas Altas. The passage is completely blocked while emergency units attend to the situation.
The Villa Nueva traffic authorities have not given more details, but in a video published on their social networks Paramedics are seen treating a person on the road. You can also see a van stopped with damage, which was apparently involved in the accident, and a few meters ahead other paramedics are treating another person near a truck.
