In the El Limón neighborhood, in zone 18 of the capitalthe National Civil Police (PNC) reports the capture of three alleged members of the Barrio 18 gang, who tried to attack law enforcement officers with a rifle.
According to the report of the Special Investigations Department of the PNCthe agents of the institution were carrying out investigation work in the El Limón 2 neighborhood, in said area. The report indicates that the elements carried out their duties properly uniformed, with vests and caps with the respective insignia of the institution.
During their journey, the agents observed the three suspects, who, upon noticing their presence, took an “evasive” attitude. As indicated, one of them took out a rifle from a sack with which he intended to attack the uniformed men; However, the weapon did not fire, so they fled.
The three suspects entered a home, where they were cornered and captured by the agents.
These They were identified as Alejandro N, 27 years old; Josué N, 18 years old, and a minor under 17 years old. The detainees were sent to the corresponding court, as well as to the court for minors in conflict with the law.
