Two people died inside a home after an armed attack that occurred this morning Friday May 1 in it residential Hacienda La Mercedes 1in the municipality of San José Pinulareported police sources and relief bodies.
The incident occurred around 6:50 a.m., when armed individuals entered the property and shot at the victims.
A man and a woman died at the scene, both with wounds caused by a firearm projectile in the area of the skull.
According to the Volunteer Firefighters, the victims were identified as Mayra Ninet Lucas Urías and José Aníbal Pérez Juárezboth 41 years old, who no longer had vital signs at the time of being evaluated.
Various attackers
According to preliminary information, relatives told the authorities that at least six people were driving in a white pick-up vehicle. The subjects were wearing clothing similar to those used by PNC agents and assured that they would carry out a raid.
After entering, the attackers allegedly entered by force, immobilized the woman by tying her and stole various belongings from the property.
After committing the robbery, they shot the victims and fled in an unknown direction.
At least one firearm casing was located at the scene, while agents of the National Civil Police maintain operations in the sector to locate those responsible.
So far, authorities indicated that the motive for the incident remains under investigation.
