The Municipal Traffic Police (PMT) of New Villa report a high vehicle load on the CA-9 South routeheading towards the south of the city, which maintains slow circulation and sections with heavy congestion.
In a video published on social networks, congestion is observed on that route that leads to the Pacific, due to the departure of thousands of people for the long weekend.
This increase in travel has generated more traffic, mainly on roads leaving the city.
Given the congestion, traffic agents from Villa Nueva remain on the road regulating the flow of vehicles and recommend that drivers take extreme precautions, since traffic has been complicated by multiple traffic events recorded in a few hours in that area.
One of the most serious incidents occurred in the kilometer 13.5 of the CA-9 South, where a person died. The incident forced the closure of lanes on the left side, while the PMT coordinates passage through the right lane for those traveling from the Villalobos descent.
In the same sector, a collision between a vehicle and two motorcycles was reported on the Villalobos descent, in addition to another accident on 50th street of Aguilar Batres road, at the entrance to the Wholesale Central (Cenma), where one of the drivers involved fled.
Authorities warn that at least four road mishaps have occurred in a short period of timewhich has increased congestion in the area.
Before the start of the long weekend, the traffic authorities called on the population to do not drive under the influence of alcoholrespect the speed limits and maintain caution behind the wheel, in order to avoid further incidents on the road.
