Santos of Brazil opened an internal investigation this Monday after an inincident involving Neymar and Robinho Jr. during a training session on Sunday.
As reported by the club in a brief statement, the case will be analyzed by its legal department to clarify what happened.
According to the sports portal GeRobinho Jr., 18, requested a meeting with the board to evaluate the possibility of terminating his contract.
The player accuses Neymar of having slapped him, kicked him and insulted him, after a friction during practice at the Rei Pelé training center.
Until now, both had a good relationship since the young man was promoted to the first team. Neymar even shared a dressing room with his father, Robinho, between 2009 and 2013.
In sports, Santos is going through a difficult time. The team occupies 16th position in the Brazilian league with 15 points, the same as Corinthians, which is in the relegation zone after 14 rounds.
