Antigua Guatemala will host the 2026 Music Festival, where more than 20 presentations of different musical genres will be held in various parts of the city.
This activity, directed by the Alliance Française in Antigua Guatemala, began in 1982 at the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture, with the aim of bringing the celebration to the streets and emblematic places within the framework of the summer solstice.
As part of the celebration, amateur and professional musicians will offer free concerts, a concept that, according to the organization, was brought to Antigua Guatemala.
In its third edition, the Music Festival will bring art, culture and celebration to emblematic spaces of the colonial city, where artists such as Tambores del Agua, Maga del Valle and Uncle Chkss & DJ Charlo Selecta will make the participating public celebrate.
