Women’s health requires a true synergy between public institutions, the private sector and civil society, understanding that this is not only a right, but a strategic investment for the nation. International studies estimate that for every USD$1 invested in women’s health, close to USD$3 can be generated in economic growth, a return that directly impacts productivity, social well-being and sustainable development.
For this reason, Por Ellas was born to raise awareness that, when you begin to seriously invest in the health of your women, it improves not only the quality of life of millions of people, but also their productivity, their family well-being and their opportunities for growth.
“For years we talked about women’s hearts only in an emotional sense, when we should also have talked about their cardiovascular health, hormonal health, mental health, late diagnoses and diseases that were not always treated in time. Prioritizing women’s health is also betting on the well-being and progress of a society,” said Óscar López Moreno, specialist in innovation, business and transformation in health.
The launch left as one of its main conclusions the need to evolve towards more comprehensive care models, where women’s health is addressed from prevention, clinical care and emotional well-being, with timely access to reliable information to make better decisions.

This vision made it possible to make visible topics that for years have not received the necessary attention, such as endometriosis, fertility, reproductive preservation, female mental health, early gynecological prevention and the urgency of leaving behind the normalization of pain and silence.
New stage
With more than 22 years of experience, advanced technology, high-level regional standards and a specialized team with international training, Grupo Gestar promotes a vision aimed at raising the standard of care through a more humane, innovative and comprehensive model.

With Por Ellas, the organization invites Guatemalans to join this initiative and view women’s health with the importance it deserves, understanding that behind each woman who receives timely care, prevention and reliable information, a family, a community and the future of the country are also strengthened.
