In Guatemala every day more musical projects arise whose creators transmit emotions through their sound pieces. In addition, they work constantly and spread their compositions, ideas and styles, with the purpose of transforming the local scene.
In the country also converge bands and soloists from Central and South America who have contributed knowledge, effort and creativity, to create a local community.
At present, there are several artists who bet on a musical transformation in Guatemala and seek to reach their works to other horizons.
To support that initiative, the epicenter seal supports the talent of the region and has worked to fulfill one of its great purposes, which consists of discovering, promoting and amplifying local emerging sounds.
With the incorporation of talent into its labor circle, the seal is also described as a space for music that supports that restless community for transcending borders with its sounds.
The seal recently disseminated that it will organize the first edition of the Epicenter Showcase, an event that will bring together several musicians who are redefining the local movement.
What is the epicenter Showcase?
The Epicenter Showcase is an event that has the mission of giving voice to the new musical generations in Guatemala and the Central America region.
“In Guatemala, we continue to see out instead of recognizing the talent we have here. The epicenter Showcase seeks to change that: create a space where artists can connect with their audience in optimal conditionswith a first level production and a clear vision that local music has the potential to compete in any scenario, “said Walter Monterroso (Bumont), founder of Epicenter.

The first edition of the Epicenter Showcase will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in the Alliance French (5th Street, 10-55, Zone 13, Finca La Aurora), starting at 3 pm.

Easy Easy
It is a Guatemalan group that focuses on the R&B, Pop e Indie rock And he has published an album I see everything (I’m sorry) (2018), and three extended play (EP’s): LVT (LS) (2019), 5 (2020) and Ok okk (2022).
At present, the band is made up of Sofia Insua (voice), Gerry Flores (drums), Chofo Madrid (guitar) and Walter Monterroso (bass and keyboards).

Kello’s house
Kello’s Guatemalan Band was founded by his vocalist Maynor Figueroa, along with a group of friends during the university years.
At present, Figueroa is accompanied by Fernando Sierra –Batía–, Víctor Valenzuela –bajo– and Antonio Monterroso –guitar. In addition, the group has gained space in local scenarios since its first record production.
Kello’s house is an independent and alternative band that seeks to offer a universal universal experience without limits that is linked to genres such as indie, folk, Rock and pop as a creative platform.
It has two ep´s, Third World War (2015), Remote (2017), and an album Travelers (2024).

Tita
Tita is a Guatemalan singer of Pop indie that since the age of 14 he showed his passion for music. During his childhood and adolescence he learned to play the guitar and created his first musical project.
In 2017 Nina Indigo began, A musical project in which he shared with several renowned local musicians. However, in 2019 he decided to experiment with a different sound and launched Everything is mental, Your first EP.

Castillejos is a Guatemalan musician and producer in the digital analog study, a production house of several local artists, with whom he continues to bet on creativity and innovation.

Cynthia Fion
The talented Guatemalan singer and composer has been recognized by the sweetness and peculiarity of her voice.

Originally from Lima, Peru, fabulous today lives in Guatemala City and has directed content sessions for prestigious brands.

His passion as a photographer and creative director with six years of experience, helped him to know and soak up the music scene, so he began his artistic career in that year and quickly positioned himself as one of the emerging talents of the new generation.
