Netflix highlighted that Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans will return to direct the sequel, which will be the product of an exclusive collaboration between Netflix, Kang and Appelhans, from which new animated films will emerge.

The writers highlighted to Netflix Tudum that they are excited to write the next chapter and see the evolution of their characters. Although the sequel was announced in 2026, it could arrive until 2029. According to Varietythe premiere will be part of the agreement closed between Netflix and Sony.

Netflix also recently surprised its audience by announcing a world concert tour for 2027, aimed at fans of K-pop Demon Hunters. This tour aims to visit at least 15 cities in the world.

So far, Netflix has not revealed the list of countries that this tour will reach or its cast, although it has enabled the portal where it will provide information.
