The National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Wednesday, June 10, that, during a raid, agents captured the alleged perpetrator of attempted patricide and femicide.
This is Rigoberto “N”, 55 years old, captured by investigators in the Barrita Vieja village, municipality of Puerto San José, Escuintla.
According to the PNC, the detainee allegedly performed a cesarean section on his 19-year-old daughter, who was in labor, which caused injuries to her and her baby.
The institution added that both entered a care center on June 5 in a delicate condition.
During the raid, several pieces of evidence were located that, according to authorities, would have been used to commit the alleged crimes.
Rigoberto “N” was placed at the disposal of the respective court and the investigation continues, the PNC added.
