Eight alleged drug distributors were captured during 11 raids carried out by agents of the General Subdirectorate of Analysis of Anti-Narcotics Information, in coordination with the Public Ministry, in the departments of Guatemala, Jutiapa and Escuintla.
According to the National Civil Police (PNC), the detainees are Juan “N”, 47 years old, who was wanted by a court for the crime of sexual assault with aggravated punishment in real competition.
Also captured were Selvin “N”, 25 years old; Carlos “N”, 26; Marlon “N,” 30; Jonathan “N,” 21; Carlos “N”, 29; Melanie “N”, 27, and Zulma “N”, 30.
During the searches, they seized 1,138 bags of marijuana, 30 cigarettes with the same drug, 600 capsules and 836 “fangs” with cocaine.
In addition, they seized eight containers with crack fragments, 360 crack rocks and 449 paper wrappers with crack fragments.
They also seized Q6,715, a hopper, 16 ammunition, 11 cell phones and three digital weights.
