The National Civil Police (PNC) reported this Wednesday, June 17, about the capture of a woman after locating drugs in a vehicle. Meanwhile, two of his companions reportedly ingested part of the narcotic to avoid capture, but they died shortly after.
Agents from the General Subdirectorate of Analysis of Anti-Drug Information carried out the arrest in the Monterrey neighborhood, zone 4 of Retalhuleu.
According to the PNC, the agents stopped a pick-up truck whose occupants did not get out immediately. Minutes later, a woman got out of the vehicle, while her companions were foaming at the mouth, so the police tried to help them; However, due to the drug they had allegedly consumed, they died at the scene.
The PNC added that it will be up to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences to corroborate the detained woman’s version.
The pick-up truck was driven by Cristofer “N”, 29 years old, alias “El Mexicano”, who was traveling accompanied by other people, including two women, one of them 14 years old, the police report added.
The PNC stated that, due to health complications, the support of the Volunteer Firefighters was requested; However, both people died at the scene.
In addition, another man was taken to a hospital for possible poisoning.
Emily “N” was captured at the scene. During the investigation, investigators located a bag with suspected cocaine, 22 crack stones, Q1,050 and two cell phones, the PNC indicated.
According to the PNC’s preliminary investigation, Cristofer “N”, alias “El Mexicano”, survived an armed attack in 2024, in which he was injured by a firearm projectile.
