The Insivumeh Monitoring Center detailed what the weather conditions will be like in Guatemala this Wednesday, July 1.
Byvian Roldán, forecaster, indicated that the national territory is still under the weak influence of a high pressure system, which will favor stable conditions in most of the country.
During the day there will be a warm and sunny environment, with few clouds in the morning, mainly from the south to the center of the country, and scattered cloudiness in the afternoon.
In the northern regions, the Northern Transverse Belt and the Caribbean there will be scattered cloudiness.
Regarding the precipitation forecast, scattered rains, associated with local conditions, are expected on the bocacosta and the west of the country.
The Insivumeh does not rule out that the rains will continue in Izabal, the department of Petén and the west of the Northern Transversal Strip.
This Wednesday, high temperatures will continue in most of the national territory, mainly in the northern region and the eastern valleys, where the thermometer could read between 34 °C and 38 °C.
In the south of the country, maximum temperatures will range between 33°C and 37°C. In the central highlands, mainly in the capital, the temperature will be between 25 °C and 28 °C.
