One of the quietest villages in Antigua Guatemala will welcome national and foreign tourists during Paseo con Encanto 2026, in which San Gaspar Vivar will be the main setting for the celebration.

According to the Municipality of Antigua Guatemala, visitors will be able to enjoy an experience full of flavor, tradition and local creativity. As part of the activity there will be a varied gastronomic offer, including tortillas with cheese, pork rinds and folded; doubled meat, chalupas, steaks, artisanal chocolate and tamarind soda.

Being an artistic community, you can also purchase products made by local entrepreneurs, including decorative ceramics, jewelry and artisanal items.

In this picturesque and quiet space, attendees will be able to enjoy a family atmosphere, accompanied by the marimba performance, in addition to exploring the cultural wealth that distinguishes San Gaspar Vivar.

For local and foreign visitors who wish to attend, the Municipality will offer free transportation from the center of Antigua Guatemala.

According to the tourism portal of the Municipality of Antigua Guatemala, the village has a colonial and artisanal legacy focused on pottery. In addition, it is recognized for the traditional “Noche de Velas” and for its cozy atmosphere, surrounded by nature.
