The 78th Emmy Awards officially announced its nominees. Among them is Guatemalan actor Óscar Isaacwho gets his second nomination for these awards, this time for his performance as Joshua Martin in the Netflix series Beef.
The Television Academy revealed this July 8 the list of nominees who will compete for the statuette on September 14, during the ceremony to be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where it will be known if the Guatemalan actor wins the award.
Isaac was nominated in the category of best actor in a limited series or anthology, along with Riz Ahmed (Bait), Jason Bateman (Black Rabbit), Charlie Hunnam (Monster: The Ed Gein Story) and Matthew Rhys (The Beast in Me).
The series, considered a black comedy, allowed Óscar Isaac to get the second nomination of his career at the Emmy Awards for his performance as Joshua Martin in Beef.

In 2024, Beef It established itself as one of the big winners of the Emmy Awards by winning eight of the 13 categories in which it competed.
