The National Civil Police arrested four alleged gang members from the 18th neighborhood in the El Milagro, Mixco neighborhood, and said that it avoided an armed attack.

Agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) reported the arrest of four alleged gang members, whom they point out to plan an armed attack in the El Milagro neighborhood, zone 6 of Mixco.
The alleged members of the Mara of the 18th neighborhood were captured this Saturday, April 12, in an action that, according to the PNC, frustrated an attack against a merchant in the sector.
The detainees were seized two firearms – one of them with theft report – a vehicle and four cell phones.
“The prompt reaction and police investigation of the police station 16 allowed that in section 0, lot 40, Colonia El Milagro, zone 6 of Mixco, were arrested Wilmer ‘L’, 18 years old; Eliezer ‘E’, 21; Kevin ‘S’, 19, and Fernando ‘C’, 19, members of La Mara 18,” details the PNC.
The institution adds that the detainees were intercepted when driving aboard the P-001DJX car, where they were seized a Glock brand gun, 9 mm caliber, with a charger and 14 useful ammunition. This weapon had theft report of March 3 of this year, in Oratory, Santa Rosa. They were also seized a 38 Special caliber revolver, with six ammunition and frosted record, in addition to four cell phones.
“According to the investigations, these individuals had planned since yesterday to carry out an armed attack against a merchant of the sector, an action that was avoided by agents of the 16 police station, who set up a strategic operation, managing to locate and capture them,” says the PNC.
