The Flower Festival has become a tradition in Antigua Guatemala that in each edition fills the parks, streets, facades and even the emblematic monuments of the city with life, art, color and aroma. In this tenth edition, the festival will continue to make the colonial city a living garden.
In this celebration, Antigua Guatemala will become the epicenter of floral art and the creativity of those who work with this type of ephemeral expression. In its tenth edition, the organizers have chosen a theme that exalts the essence of the colonial city, its inhabitants, its visitors and the corners that maintain it as a unique destination.
Throughout these ten editions, Antigua Guatemala has seen this festival flourish, but the organizers highlight that over time they have understood that it was not about filling a city with flowers, but rather about discovering a city that has always flourished, “There are cities that are decorated with flowers and others that were born to bloom” they highlight.
For this edition, they seek to remember that Antigua Guatemala has always flourished. Therefore, this tenth edition pays tribute to Antigua Guatemala under the motto “Blooming City”, which will celebrate a decade of sharing the beauty of the city and its flowers.
According to the Flower Festival statement, during November, recognized as the Month of Flowers in Antigua Guatemala, there will be floral interventions, art exhibitions, immersive installations, workshops, gastronomic activities, music, cultural experiences and activities for the whole family.
“This 2026, the Flower Festival celebrates a decade of history, creativity and love for Guatemala. Its 10th edition honors the path traveled and opens a new chapter under a concept that is born from the very essence of Antigua Guatemala: Blooming City,” the organizers highlight.
