Ugly Betty will have a new season. Prime Video announced a new installment of the Colombian series Ugly Betty: the story continuesstarring Beatriz Pinzón and Don Armando Mendoza.
The platform of streaming made the announcement through a video in which Betty is seen during a press conference representing Ecomodathe fictional company in the series that he now presides over.
The images show a dialogue between Betty, played by Ana María Orozco, and the journalists attending the conference, with whom she shares information supposedly related to the company, although, in the background, she talks about the production that is being prepared.
“Betty, how nice to see you again. I understand that you return with good news after conquering the world“, a journalist tells her, to which she responds with a laugh: “Conquer? No, whatever, that’s for beautiful people.”
“As for the Ecomoda rumors, what I can tell you is that there is still a lot of fabric to cut”, adds the protagonist of the series.
The video continues with a bombardment of questions from journalists, who ask if there will be “new hires” for the new season.

However, avoid answering other questions about the return of “the Frenchman” and the rumors that Armando and Marcela resumed their old relationship.
The video continues with an emotional monologue in which Betty talks about what Ecomoda represents for her and assures that the company is her home, the place where she arrived as secretary and where she is now the president; Furthermore, she states that there she became a friend, wife and mother.
“Ecomoda also belongs to all of you, that is why, after listening to and reading them for so long, I am excited to announce that a new one has arrived. It was with many changes and new challenges; because, just as people we missed a lot returned, someone who should have stayed in the past also returned,” he says, leaving viewers in suspense.
Finally, Betty invites her old followers and new audiences to follow the new season. “The doors are open to everyone. This is our chance to meet again, or to meet each other for the first time. “The time has come to live this great experience together!” he concludes.
The successful telenovela produced by RCN was originally broadcast between 1999 and 2001. More than 20 years later, in 2024, the sequel was released Ugly Betty: the story continueswith much of the original cast and which, until now, had two seasons.
