Procession of Jesús Nazareno del Carmen
Known as the “Lord of the sweet look”, this Holy Tuesday the venerated and miraculous image of Jesús Nazareno del Carmen will travel the historic center, inspiring faith and companionship with his gaze.
The image, attributed to the sculptor Mateo de Zúñiga, was carved in the second half of the seventeenth century. It is considered a baroque -style work and one of the devotional treasures of the Temple of Our Lady of Carmen.
